The ‘description’ field is an additional space to describe your asset. It is relevant information that you don’t necessarily want in the title. The description is always displayed prominently below the asset name.

Describing your assets

• Be as accurate as possible
• Try and use anything that uniquely identifies the asset
• Try not to use fields that exist elsewhere in AssetFlow. For example, these fields all exist elsewhere:
  • Make / model / colour
  • Character / Set
  • Tags / Folder
  • Production specific
    • On Camera
    • Hero item
    • Is Asset
  • etc.

Good descriptions examples

• Cap originally from crew that was used in scene
• The one with the scratched bumper
• Has secret compartment you can’t see in the photos
• etc.
