Tag Assets

To ‘Tag’ Assets:

  • Browse to the Asset you want to Tag
  • Open Tags by using the Tag toggle (if the toggle is closed)
  • Click the Tags to select/deselect the Tag

Browse the the list of Assets to Tag and Un-Tag Assets as required.

Tagging Using Bulk Actions

Note: Bulk Actions are enabled for experienced users on a User-by-User basis. If you would like Bulk Actions turned on please speak to your Account Manager.

Manually select multiple Assets to Tag

  • Make sure ‘Bulk Actions’ are turned on
  • Assets will have a ‘Select’ button
  • Use the ‘Select’ button to select the Assets you want to Tag
  • When ready use the ‘Continue’ button or select the ‘Bulk Actions’ tab
  • Select the ‘Selected’ Radio button if not already selected
  • From the list of Bulk Actions, select ‘Tag’ or ‘Un-Tag’
  • Confirm to begin

Note: Bulk Actions are processed on the backend and can take anything from a few seconds to a few minutes to process depending on the number of records. Bulk Actions supports processing large record sets.

Using Bulk Actions with Existing Filters

Bulk Actions supports Tagging using existing Filters. Here are some examples:

  • based on Department
  • based on their Category
  • added to Folder
  • based on Usage: Hero Items, On Camera, Finance Assets etc.
  • created by a User
  • at a Location or Address
  • from certain Suppliers
  • of a particular Value
  • created before/after a Date
  • etc.

To Tag these Assets:

  • Use the appropriate Filter so only the required Assets are showing
  • Select the Bulk Actions Tab
  • Select the ‘All’ Assets if not already selected
  • From the Bulk Actions menu, select ‘Tag’ or ‘Un-tag’
  • Confirm to begin
