At a glance
Supporting CAMA’s AssetCycle circular economy service.
Tackling waste in film and TV, avoiding disposal, and repurposing props, sets, and costumes onto future productions and into local communities.
How has it worked?
Filtered inventories to organise assets available for reuse or donation.
Full profiles for each asset, including images, files, dimensions, primary materials, and condition.
Wrap planning: “proposal and approval” workflow so that liquidation plans can be suggested and vetted under one roof.
Ability for productions to flag high IP items that must be securely recycled.
Ordering, collection, and delivery functionality so that reuse can be coordinated entirely remotely.
Timelines and activity logs so that the full lifecycle of the assets’ use can be viewed and tracked over time.

What have we achieved?
Large scale reuse
The entire AssetCycle circular economy service runs off of AssetFlow inventories. In 2024, 50 reuse projects were powered by the tool.
Efficiency and collaboration
The platform enables the AssetCycle team to quickly and efficiently collaborate with studios and productions, saving them from unwanted storage or rental costs.
Carbon data and lifecycle analysis
With our timeline and activity log feature, users are extracting AssetFlow data on reuse and submitting it under waste reporting/Scope 3 for their carbon certifications.
Circularity and cost reduction
Unwanted assets are recirculated onto future productions or donated into local communities when permitted. This is avoiding landfill and burning (which carry huge waste processing costs and emit unnecessary carbon).
